Back from the fire and into the fryer!

Welcome to our first installment of The Captain’s Club Newsletter. As many of you are aware the Vallee family and the community suffered a devastating loss when The Village Inn Restaurant burned over two years ago. Since last July we have been reopened after nearly two years of reconstruction and remodeling. During this time we at The Village Inn have been overjoyed at the sight of old friends as well as new diners gracing us with their patronage. Thanks goes out to all of you who stuck by us during the long rebuilding process and we look forward to continue serving you with the best dining experience the Lewiston/Auburn area has to offer.

This June, we launched our new website as well as The Captain’s Club. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements concerning everything from special menu items to our grand reopening of Captain Don’s Loft expected this summer. Members of The Captain’s Club will be entered to win a bi-weekly drawing for $50 gift card starting June 30th with the winner’s being announced right here. So for those of you soon to be lucky winners, keep checking back at www.villageinnmaine.com to see if it’s your turn and be sure to tell your friends to log in and join!

Fisherman’s Brew sails into the Portside Lounge!

All aboard! Fresh off the gangway rolls our latest brew. Fisherman’s Brew is an American Lager, brewed by the docks of America’s oldest seaport, Gloucester, Mass, from the finest 2-row barley imported from Munich, Belgium and England. This beverage offers a toasty malt flavor followed by a dry hoppy finish. 10% of all proceeds from Fisheerman’s brew are used to help support unemployed fishermen.  If you haven’t tried one yet, come in today and let one of our colorful bartenders pour you a glass of this local favorite.
